Dear customers,

 

Today marks our final day in business. Closing this chapter is not easy, and we extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported Lionheart Industries—through your purchases, your enthusiasm, and your encouragement. We are humbled to share that our remaining inventory of pistols sold out two weeks ago, a milestone made possible only by you.

 

In 2020, I acquired the company from its founder, D.J., with the goal of advancing a long-held dream: to create a pistol that performed at an exceptional level and looked every bit as refined. The Vulcan represents that vision. Our team pioneered new manufacturing processes that improved barrel accuracy while reducing cost. We engineered custom fixtures for our 5-axis Matsuura machining center and built the Vulcan’s frame from a solid block of 7075 aluminum, completing a fully machined frame in just two operations. Each frame required roughly three hours of machining—an investment of time that reflects our commitment to quality and innovation.

 

A lesser-known part of our story is that nearly 90% of the design and manufacturing effort was completed in-house by a team of only three people. That achievement stands on its own, regardless of the final outcome of the business.

 

The firearms industry is challenging, and timing plays a decisive role. Many respected brands before us have faced similar circumstances. While this closure is not personal, it is a meaningful lesson—one that adds to a long list of lessons learned.

 

I want to express sincere gratitude to the entire Lionheart team, each of whom brought exceptional dedication and skill to this project. With such a small team, every individual made a significant impact. I also extend heartfelt thanks to our friends, families, and industry partners for their unwavering support and patience throughout this journey.

 

We close this endeavor with integrity—no burned bridges and no unresolved financial obligations. What remains is simply the quiet weight of seeing a dream come to its conclusion.

 

As for what comes next, the future of the Vulcan remains unwritten.

Appendix is the popular carry position we all have endured a love/hate relationship with, but BlackPoint has developed a dedicated solution. We are proud to introduce our new holster, the DualPoint™.

The DualPoint™ is designed from the ground up to be the ultimate appendix holster. The overall footprint of the holster is minimized through the use of innovative molding techniques and design characteristics which provide a feature set unmatched by any other appendix holster on the market today. The one-piece design, folded from the trigger guard side, allows us to incorporate a side mounted strut loop that aids in concealment by pushing the grip in toward the body, significantly reducing how much the gun prints. Featuring user adjustable retention as well as fully adjustable ride height and cant, you can customize the fit of the holster to find the perfect spot that is most comfortable for daily wear. A full set of additional accessories will be available for this new holster ranging from an integrated accessory pouch to other options which may be added at a later date.

Appendix carry has a few distinct advantages not offered by other carry positions which include: easier to access in the car or while seated, holster is center-line of the body so no width is added to the user’s overall profile, allows for a more natural and discrete draw because of gun position, easier to secure and retain with its forward position, allows for easier ambidextrous draw, and does not inadvertently become exposed from bending over.

The DualPoint™ can also be converted to a minimal OWB carry platform, maximizing the value to the end user. All needed hardware to make this conversion is included in every box.

 

FEATURES

Adjustable Ride Height and Cant
Easily configurable by loosening the screws on the IWB belt clip and sliding the clip in the channels to achieve the desired position.

Adjustable Retention
Allows for end user adjustment of holster retention by adjusting trigger side screws.

Metal Attachment Hardware
The use of metal IWB and OWB attachments make the holster extremely durable and removes any potential failure points.

Sweat Guard
Standard option that extends from top of holster between body and firearm. Protects gun by providing a sweat barrier from the body. Protects body from gun when holstering. Provides touch point for ease in holstering.

Plus Pouch Option
Magazine pouches and other accessories can be carried in added pouch connected to the slide side of the holster with a leather connection wing.

OWB Conversion
Can be converted to a minimal OWB platform with the included hardware.
